The Dallas Cowboys secondary was a glaring problem last season as everyone knows and Terence Newman‘s play on the field was sub par. February 6th was the official day NFL teams could start releasing players. As a result Newman has a very strong chance of getting release by the Dallas Cowboys. If Terence Newman is release in the upcoming weeks this move would save the Dallas Cowboys around $4 million but according to reports from the Fort Worth-Star Telegram the Cowboys could wait until after June 1 and they could save $6 million in cap space.
