Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com reports that the Allen Wranglers ownership stated that the team has parted ways with ex Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens. Owens violated his contract and he was released and lost his ownership stake in the Indoor Football League team.
“It’s disappointing and unfortunate, but (he) could no longer be tolerated by the Wrangler organization.”– Allen Wranglers owner Jon Frankel.
Owens refused to play in two of the Wrangler’s upcoming road games and no-show for a scheduled appearance at a local children’s hospital.
