Cowboys LB Kyle Wilber out for at least 4 weeks

1–2 minutes

Dallas Cowboys fourth-round rookie LB Kyle Wilber broke his left thumb in Monday’s preseason opener against the Oakland Raiders, and will be sidelined “at least” four weeks. He’ll undergo surgery. Wilber missed most of the Cowboys’ offseason program as he recovered from surgery to repair a broken right index finger, but had yet to miss a practice in camp. Wilber should be limited to special teams when he returns, but could see snaps as a situational pass rusher later in the season.

This stinks. Wilber got after the QB nicely when he was in there last night.
