This day in Cowboys History….
On this day the Dallas Cowboys won their first ever NFL game 27-24 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Cowboys kicker Allen Green kicked a 27 yard game winning field goal at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Dallas would finish the 1961 season 4-9-1.
