Golden Tate’s blind side block on Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee is the talk around water coolers nation wide but you can not overshadow the fact that Lee is a tacking machine. He was all over the field making tackles in the Cowboys 27-7 loss to Seattle.
“I’m just going out there playing, just play to play trying to make a play, reading my keys and running to the football,” Lee said. “When you get in the game and you’re just playing, you don’t know. You don’t keep track of stuff like that.”
Sean Lee tied a 41-year-old Cowboys franchise single game record with 21 tackles against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. He tied Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor member Lee Roy Jordan.
Jordan, recorded a team record 21 tackles versus Philadelphia on Sept. 26, 1971.
