The Dallas Cowboys are officially out of the playoff picture now with the heart breaking loss to arch rival the Washington Redskins 28-18 at FedEx Field. This will be the third straight season that the Cowboys will miss the post season.
Next year the projected salary cap will be at $121 million for 2013 that would put the Dallas Cowboys $20 million over the cap with only 44 players under contract. The Cowboys front office can create some cap room by cutting a few players, restructuring contracts, and extending quarterback Tony Romo current contract.
Cowboys will have 18 free agents this season and with the current cap situation it will be difficult to keep most of the players and this list. The most noticeable free agent on the list is outside linebacker Anthony Spencer. Will the Cowboys be able to sign him or will they let him walk?
