The Dallas Cowboys have released linebacker Dan Connor.
The Cowboys are currently 6.8 million dollars over the salary cap and all NFL teams have until Tuesday at 4 PM EST to get under the $123 million salary cap for the 2013 season.
The Cowboys created three million dollars in cap room by cutting Connor.
Dan Connor immediately becomes an unrestricted free agent.
