Our Cowboys are now sitting at 3-4 after Sunday’s loss to the 49ers, but as I thinking to myself going into this year the Dallas Cowboys front office never addressed the team’s inability to stop the run or run the ball going into this season. I knew it would come back and bite us in the @**.
We were bullied once again on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys defense played a six man front most of the game and we were still gashed and gave up 223 rushing yards which Brock Purdy had 56 yards rushing himself……Yikes!!!
While the Cowboys offense didn’t fare much better than the defense. Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott threw for 243 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 costly interceptions. Prescott looked off all game and with no running game behind him looks like he is pressing on field but that is not an excuse. He has to take care of the ball because we have no margin for error because as a team we are not built to come back from behind.
There are plenty of games left to try to salvage this season but do we really want to see the same old thing play out? Going into the playoffs getting beat in the Wild Card game or getting embarrassed in the divisional round?
I think not. Once a proud football organization we are now the laugh stock of the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys are sitting at a cross roads in which Jerry has full control over. Jones, loves all of the publicity but does not want to shoulder the blame for the team he and Cowboys front office put together.
I see a frustrated fan base online and trust me I am too but if fans really want to get the Cowboys GM’s attention stop spending your hard earn money on the games, stadium tours, and merchandise hit their bottom line. It has been 30 years since the Cowboys have played in a NFC championship game. .
We have one of the best fan bases in the world and it comes a time where enough is enough. Stop supporting until Jerry gets it and either steps down as GM or get some one in here that will improve the overall culture of this team.
