The Dallas Cowboys have acquired Jets All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. Cowboys will send their 2026 second round pick, a 2027 first round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith to the Jets.
From the outside looking in the Cowboys are quietly rebuilding their interior defensive line with the addition of Williams and DT Kenny Clark that the Cowboys acquired from Green Bay via the Micah Parsons blockbuster trade along with two first round picks a few months ago.
Also the Cowboys traded a 2026 7th round pick to the Cincinnati Bengals for linebacker Logan Wilson Tuesday hopefully this will help bolster the linebacker group that has underperformed all season.
The Cowboys are going into their bye this week with a little bit of good news after the 27-17 Monday Night Football embarrassment loss from the Cardinals.
Hopefully in the bye week the front office and coaching staff can reevaluate the current roster and make some necessary adjustments and hopefully make some type of a run at the playoffs.
