The Dallas Cowboys have released star cornerback Trevon Diggs.
In a move I saw coming this offseason, Dallas officially turns the page on a talented yet turbulent chapter and season.
Diggs will be able to go through waivers and if he goes unclaimed he will become a free agent allowing him to potentially join a playoff team.
This also signals a new defensive direction for the Dallas Cowboys where the ranks near the bottom of every defensive category in the league.
Hopefully in the near future Cowboys’ fans will hear that the Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus and start a complete rebuild on the defensive side of the ball.
