In case you missed it, the Dallas Cowboys are making offseason moves. Safety Markquese Bell has agreed to a three-year deal worth up to $12 million, showing the team’s commitment to developing young talent on defense.
On the flip side, former Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis is heading to the Jacksonville Jaguars on a three-year, $30 million deal, including $20 million guaranteed and $12.5 million in cash this year.
Lewis was an important piece of the Cowboys’ secondary, and his departure leaves a notable gap in the defense heading into the 2025 season.
