Former Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle is heading home, signing a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, the team announced Wednesday.
Dowdle had a breakout 2024 season in Dallas, leading the team with 235 carries for 1,079 rushing yards and five total touchdowns (three receiving, two rushing).
A North Carolina native and A.C. Reynolds High School standout, Dowdle now returns to his home state looking to build on his momentum in Charlotte.
