My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Old Forge Distillery located at 170 Old Mill Avenue in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Situated next to the historic Old Mill this distillery offers 200 years of distilling while offering a unique blend of tradition and innovation.
Old Forge craft their spirits using stone ground grains and fresh mountain water from the adjacent gristmill making them one of America’s oldest continually operated mills.
Upon entering we were welcomed by the rustic charm of the interior featuring exposed beams and wood accents.
The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guiding through a free tasting of their handcrafted spirits.
We sampled several unique moonshine flavors including French Toast, Coffee, and Apple Pie each offering a delightful twist on traditional recipes.
The distillery also produces a variety of other spirits such as bourbon, rum, vodka, and cream liqueurs.
Their cocktail bar serves artisan drinks perfect for enjoying on the patio while taking in the scenic views of the town.
Overall, our visit to Old Forge Distillery was a memorable experience combining rich history with exceptional spirits. It’s a must visit destination for anyone exploring Pigeon Forge.
