How bad was the Cowboys defense last year?
The Dallas Cowboys defense finished last season 14th overall in total defense but they also allowed 64 plays of 20 or more yards
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com In 2010 the Cowboys allowed a franchise record 436 points. That defense, led by Wade Phillips and eventually by Paul Pasqualoni, after Phillips’ firing, finished 23rd in total defense, allowing 351.8 yards per game.
