Victor Butler was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oregon State.
Butler recorded his first two career sacks and caused a fumble recovered by Dallas against the Carolina Panthers on Sept 28 2009. On November 8, 2009, he sacked Donovan McNabb (then a Philadelphia Eagle) with a shoe string tackle to stop a critical Philadelphia drive.
