Camp NOMAD is an event hosted by NOMAD Grills that features free food (BBQ), live music, and drinks. Campers received free admission, complimentary beer/drinks, and barbecue bites cooked by pit masters from across the country using the NOMAD grills.
I had the pleasure of attending the Camp Nomad event at NOMAD HQ in Dallas, Texas. It was a real laid back yet cool event there were a few hundred people in attendance. First thing I have to talk about is the food.
The pit masters for the event was top notch and each had their own favor and unique cooking styles. Local Pit master Kris Manning from Smokey Joe’s barbecue here in Dallas had one of the biggest lines at the event and I could see why. Everything I sampled from his area was on point.

In closing if you ever get a chance to visit a Camp Nomad event you won’t be sorry. It was fun and entertaining the staff and volunteers were super friendly.
