As a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I’ve cheered for Romo, Dak, Zeke, and Dez but the one guy I always had my eye on was Tyron Smith.
He wasn’t flashy, didn’t dance after plays, and didn’t need the spotlight.
Yet every Sunday, #77 showed up and dominated. For over a decade, he protected our quarterbacks and bulldozed lanes like a silent guardian.
Watching him shut down elite pass rushers like it was nothing became my favorite part of the game.
Even through the injuries, Tyron kept grinding playing hurt, staying loyal, leading by example. Seeing him in a Jets jersey felt unreal at the time, but I get it. Business is Business.
As a Cowboys he gave us everything. More than stats, more than awards he gave us stability, strength, and pride.
Tyron Smith wasn’t just an offensive lineman. He was a wall. A warrior.
A Cowboy through and through and after 14 seasons in the NFL Thank you, Big 77. #futurehof
