Countdown to Glory: INDYCAR Is Coming to the Streets of Arlington

2–3 minutes

It’s almost here………

Where the Cowboys, Rangers, and Open-Wheel Racing Collide!!!!
There’s something brewing in the heart of North Texas that has motorsports fans, football diehards, and baseball loyalists all talking at once and for once, they’re all saying the same thing.

This is going to be something special.

The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, set for March 13-15, 2026, represents one of the most ambitious additions to the INDYCAR calendar in years.

Three championship caliber organizations Penske Entertainment, the Dallas Cowboys, and REV Entertainment, the official events partner of the Texas Rangers have joined forces to bring open-wheel racing to the beating heart of Arlington’s legendary sports and entertainment district.

A Track Like No Other
The 2.73-mile street course winds through one of the most recognizable sports landscapes on the planet. AT&T Stadium on one side, Globe Life Field on the other.

No other street circuit in the world threads the needle between an NFL cathedral and a Major League Baseball ballpark simultaneously.

Seventy laps means strategy, tire management, and sheer nerve all matter.

Two design features are already generating paddock buzz a split-pit lane that turns pit strategy into a genuine chess match, and a technical horseshoe section beside AT&T Stadium where races will be won and lost.

Why This Matters
When Penske Entertainment, Jerry Jones’s Cowboys organization, and the Texas Rangers’ events infrastructure share the same table, serious planning follows.

For INDYCAR, the DFW metroplex nearly eight million people already deeply invested in sports culture is one of the largest untapped markets in American motorsports.

Dropping a street race into a setting fans already love is a stroke of genius. On March 15th, when the green flag drops and the cars accelerate toward Turn 1 with AT&T Stadium looming in the background, Arlington will cement itself as one of America’s great sports destination cities.

The countdown is on.
