Stalemate?? A Deal Coming Soon?

1–2 minutes

It looks like Brandon Aubrey may be staying put in Dallas and getting paid like it.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported out of the NFL Scouting Combine that he expects the Cowboys to reach a deal with Aubrey sometime in the first week or two of March making him the highest-paid kicker in the league.

The sticking point? Both sides agree he should be the highest-paid kicker in the NFL, they just disagree on by how much.

Supposedly Dallas has offered above the current market-high of $6.4 million per year, while Aubrey’s camp is supposedly pushing for closer to $10 million.

Hard to blame him for swinging big. He’s made six field goals from 60 yards or longer the most in NFL history.

The man is in a class of his own and it sounds like a deal is close.

Stay tuned, Cowboys Nation.
