Happy Father’s Day

A Salute to All the Fathers This Father’s Day

There’s a particular kind of love that doesn’t always announce itself. It shows up in the early morning car rides to practice, the patient hand steadying a wobbly bike, the quiet sacrifices made so a family could have a little more. It’s the love of a father steady, often unspoken, and felt in a thousand small moments that add up to a lifetime.

This Father’s Day, we want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you to the dads who show up, day after day, in the ordinary moments that turn out to be the ones we remember most.

Thank you to the stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who stepped in and chose to love without being asked. Thank you to the new dads still figuring it out, the seasoned dads who make it look easy, and the dads doing it alone and doing it well.

Fatherhood isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up anyway with patience, humor, hard earned wisdom, and a love that doesn’t need to be perfect to be real.

And to the fathers who aren’t here anymore we hold you close today too. Your absence has its own kind of presence in the advice that still echoes, the habits we picked up without noticing, the lessons that quietly shaped who we became.

Father’s Day can be tender for those carrying this kind of loss, and that’s okay. Missing someone is just love with nowhere to go. So we remember you, we honor you, and we carry you with us still.

So today, to every father, everywhere here with us or held only in memory we see you, we appreciate you, and we love you.

Happy Father’s Day.
